History
First I would Like to say that the
NWF (Novato Wrestling Federation) is a backyard federation. We wrestle on grass not in a ring. Even though we don't have a
ring, we keep in mind that this is not fake. Each of us takes this very seriously. We are not a bunch of teens that got together
and began to beat each other up (Actually we are, but that's not the point). The point is we are prepared for anything that
can happen and we compete at our own risk, so please don't stereo type us like every other backyard wrestling federation out
there. I can tell you that neither us or any other backyard wrestling federation enjoys it. Thank You!
The NWF's history
is simple. One day Josh Baldwin and RJ Whitaker started to kick the crap out of each other because they wanted to. They decided
to have a wrestling match, but they had no ref., but they didn't care so off they went kicking each others a$$'. Just then
Damien Jennings arrived and said, what the hell are you guys doing? They said, wrestling! Damien said, can I ref? RJ said,
sure! After that match the NwF was born.
Milestone: on 4-13-02 the NwF defeted their rival
the NCW and claimed all their titles as their own! After the event all NwF members were stripped of their NCW titles,
but it still shows that they held them in the records!
Milestone: on 4-12-03 the NwF once again defeated
the NCW and claimed their World Championship, Psych'o'Delic pinned 3 X J in double over time to become the second ever Unifed
Champion.
The NwF offically dispanded on July 16, 2004.
